Good News!

Went to the oncologist this morning. My blood tests were really good. He decided that this round of chemo could be my last one for awhile. I have been steadily losing weight and was getting too skinny. I was supposed to have 6 total. This week is number 5. Good riddance! I get the fanny pack off Friday at 1:00pm. Then a well deserved break. I have another CT scan next month so will see then if the chemo is still doing its job. I am tired so time to hit the hay. Take care and God Bless.

Good going Kim. Where there is life there is hope. You need a break from chemo to give your body some enegry and good food.
I praying you can eat, you are way to thin.
Take care. my friend,
Love you.

Kim... I just heard from Brenda and she wrote that you have cancer. I'm sorry that you are going through this, it really sucks! No other way to put it... We all want you up and healthy, as I know you are working towards. I will pass the info. of this blog and Brenda's email to your other Iowa Shull cousins. Know that I hold you, Brenda, and the kids up in my prayers daily. God is the ultimate healer and holds all of our destiny in his hands. I know that He only gives us what we can handle, but "darn nab it", that resolve is sure put to the test at times, especially for you now. Give Brenda a hug and hold her tight... We will have many more laughs together... I still laugh when I recall our camping weekend at our cabin... way back before you two married... life is good! Love, Lezlie Shull
